Super PPC Affiliate Tools Explained: Case Study #1 – Part 4
By
To know the most effective affiliate tools for your trade, the first thing you need to do is to relax and think things through. Just because an affiliate tool is popular doesn’t mean it will give you instant big bucks as well. Chances are affiliate tools that have been overused through the years have very little room for profits simply because of the number of competition you have at hand. Instead of looking at affiliate marketing in that manner, look at it as an individual pursuit that involves your skills and abilities as an individual.
Are you a good researcher and a fast writer?
If you work well with information giving, you should look into the possibilities of article marketing. Article marketing is only one of the many aspects of affiliate marketing, and most often than not, they don’t provide instant results. Depending on your ability to identify effective keywords and subject matter, you may or may not drive a significant amount of traffic into your site. If you’re patient, though, you’ll find that article marketing is actually one of the few affiliate tools that give you long term results.
How are your copywriting skills?
If you’re a good copywriter, you might discover your success in making opt-in landing pages for various products. Of course, opt-in pages were initially designed to draw subscribers for ezines. You can either create your own newsletters and ezines with partners, or work by sending out little tidbits of information that reel in consumers to your affiliate products.

I don't think by spending money and email out you could get any results. The best way to to do some market research about your target audience.
If you have the right tools and good guidance, you can make some money without spending a single cent.

Internet is like anything else from cooking to cars to clothing. If the premade packages dont work for you then there is always the old do-it-yourself option.
The old affiliate program involved tracking hits on your webpage. If I have the logs for Any1Can.net then I can see hits. If I have a script that I want to have handle something then I can add to the end of the link such as Any1Can.net?this=something which creates a variable called "this" and puts the word "something" into it.
If I dont actually have a script and dont need the variable "this" it doesnt matter since the system will just ignore it. It doesnt hurt anything. If you have someone named Dommy who sends people to your shop then you can tell him to use the link of Any1Can.net/shop.html?sentby=dommy and you can easily pull all of the "sentby" references from the log whenever you want to reward your affiliates. And later, when you get too many to easily handle then you can go ahead and create a CGI script to collect those and process them to a spreadsheet or something.
If you set your shop to use something like PayPal shopping cart then I tihnk there are logs which can let you veirify that the person provided you an actual sale instead just a referral

I would highly recommend XSitePro….
Its a bit expensive… but worth it. XSite Pro is absolutely one of the best investments that I have ever made.
I have tried quite a bit of software programs to build websites.. free as well as ones that cost money.
About 6 months ago, after realising that the free ones simply did not provide me with everything that I wanted, I opted to do some research on the ones that I had to pay for. My research basically consisted of reading other peoples reviews, emailing people and asking them specific questions, etc.
After doing that for about a week, I opted to purchase a software program called Seo Website Builder. During this week of searching, I actually did come across XSite Pro, but opted for Seo Website Builder because of its slightly cheaper price.
Well I used that program for a while (beyond the period for which you could ask for a refund – I think it was a month or something), but realised that although it was a good program, simply didn't do things the way I wanted…. it was back to the drawing board for me.
What made me purchase Xsite Pro was that one day, I was at the IAHBE (International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs) website and someone showed videos of how he used Xsite Pro to create his websites and optimise them for search engines…. well quite frankly, I saw what I wanted to see..
After I thought about the fact that XSite Pro comes with a money back guarantee, I finally went and brought it. I wish I had made that decision months earlier..
Listen, if your looking a software to create (and manage) your websites, XSite Pro is the way to go… I have no regrets.
These are two websites that I recently created with this software:

All the best…

It is getting more and more difficult. There are 2 basic ways, with variations of others.
1) Use Pay Per Click advertising to send customers directly to amazon pages with your affiliate link. You would use Google Adwords, MSN AdCenter or Yahoo ads to send customers there. This method is probably going to die on or around May 1st, because Amazon recently banned direct linking. There are ways around this, but it complicates matters.
2) You can create content sites with Amazon ads embedded within it. In fact, there are some very nice packages that will do this for you almost completely automatically. The beauty of these packages is that they let you mix Amazon ads with Adsense and other programs, so you distribute your income over many different sources. Here's a popular one:

WARNING. Don't think that you'll become rich by throwing up a web page with one of these tools. These are just tools, like a hammer. You must use the tool correctly. You'll have to drive traffic, and that's a whole different subject!
